Now in Stock at Crafts U Love  are the adorable  Farm Animals from Karen Burniston. Cheepers the Chicken, Virgil the Pig and Brownie the Cow. Not forgetting the adorable  Pop stand  Barn.

Karen Burniston Designer Challenge Day 2 - Brownie Card

I am back with my official challenge card. the card I shared this morning was a card made "Just for fun" but this one fits the bill and includes the barn.

I've used the Chalkboard Greetings stamps on the front and gone to town on the inside with "Brownie" looking less brown in this card but a spotted black and white and the barn in pretty pastel shades.

The dandelions in the picture are real ones that I picked as they looked so sunny!

Simple front with some punched daisies.

Tomorrow Karen Burniston will post her post over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog and I will come back and post the link tomorrow.

I've had a lovely day today... My birthday has been very special with friends and family and lots of birthday wishes.

Karen Burniston Designer Challenge Day 2

I'm back with another card.  This isn't my actual challenge  card but kids currently  hogging  pc with challenge  card so might need to post that card later today.

In the meantime I had a Virgil the Pig hanging about that needed making  into something  and I made this simple card. And it's flat too which makes a change  for my kb cards.

I used the pitchfork from the hey there set and the fantastic new stamps too.

I'll be back later with my proper challenge  card.  Have a great day.

Karen Burniston May Designer Challenge Day 1

Gosh, time does fly doesn't it and I didn't it was even realise it was due until I saw Frances fantastic card pop up on my newsfeed on Facebook.  Frances' Amazing Card HERE!

It's time for our May Karen Burniston Designer Challenge. This time around the theme for our challenge is BARNS, BARNS, BARNS - Time to show off the new Collins dies with a designer challenge in their honor. The only requirement is that you use the new Barn Pop Stand die. You do not have to use it with the enclosed Pop Stand (if, for instance, you prefer using the barn on a card front or on one of the other PIU dies) and you do not have to style it as a barn.

Elizabeth Craft Designs release a small collection for a show called Collins and aren't we lucky!!  The dies are due in stock any time now and I am so excited to share this with you.  Slightly different this time as I didn't have full access to the collection so therefore I got one already cut and pieced animal to use, so maybe (most probably) my cards might have been different had I had full reign of the dies, but that's not to say I haven't fallen in love totally with Virgil the Pig, Cheepers the Chicken and Brownie the Cow.  I once I get the dies I will be able to create a whole herd of farm yard fun!

First up I have used Cheepers and the Pop Stand Barn die
to create this fun "Chicken Shack".
Long standing readers (if there are any) will recognise the Chicken Shack
from what used to be my small On-line Craft Store.  Aww those were the days!

I have also used the NEW Branches with leaves peel off - Elizabeth Craft Designs
A very old rubber stamp of a piece of chicken wire was used too (Inky Antics)

The front of the card uses the NEW Karen Burniston Farm Greetings Stamp set.
And again a blast from my Chicken Shack Crafts Days my designed stamp of chicken feet were perfect!

I will be back with another card for the challenge, maybe later or tomorrow if I can manage to make a third card I will post the second later today :)

All dies should be hitting stores very soon and Crafts U Love in the UK should have
those in stock as well.

Bunting in a minute

You all know I love a gadget and I love bunting too so when I saw the New We R Memory Keepers Banner Board it was a match made in heaven.

It takes just a little  bit if pre cutting  you card to rectangles or squares and then a few slices in the board and your done. It really is simple.

They are in stock at Crafts  U Love.

Card round up

I admit to sharing all my cards and creations on Facebook and forgetting my blog so I have a couple to share in this post today.

First up is last weeks Create and Take at Crafts U Love
I used the Stampendous Angel Fish stamp for this one.
I can't tell you how much I struggled with this card.  I made a variation that just
did not work and nearly drove myself nuts getting it right.  I am pleased to say
in the end it turned out ok and the ladies at Create and Take brought all
the stamps and embossing folders so I guess it was a thumbs up from them too.

This card is my Pop it Ups Wednesday over at Elizabeth Craft Designs.
You can check out my info HERE and the blog HERE

This one was a card I made for one of Harvey's friends.
Boys cards are always tricky and now they are getting older it is
getting even harder.  I used the Dienamics Headphones for this one.

And lastly this was the week before's Create and take and this one
was made using Taylored Expressions Stamps, Die and Embossing Folder too.

All items from Crafts U Love

I will try and post more to here. And I hope you have liked these cards.

I'm off to the shed to play with the NEW We R Memory Keepers Banner Punch boards.
You know how much I like to use the boards and how much I like bunting too.  Match made in heaven.  I will post my results later.
